Welcome to DishNewbies.com, a website dedicated to testing Bell ExpressVu and Dish Network satellite systems. For many people, testing these systems is a hobby and is just not about receiving unpaid channels. Over the years this hobby has grown and a lot of people have become educated in the different ways to test satellite. Not only are there more educated people in the testing world, the satellite providers have become wiser as well...making this hobby more challenging. The latest challenge in this cat and mouse hobby is the introduction of Nagra 3. In layman terms, Nagra 3 is a brand new signal that can only be decrypted using the new smart card, FTA IKS (internet key sharing) devices only. Dishnewbies niche in the testing community is catering to the people that are new to this hobby in a warm and friendly atmosphere free from ridicule because of their lack of knowledge and/or experience...Newbie questions are always welcome. Over the years of helping people adjust to this hobby, we have built a close-knit community here at Dishnewbies.
